Katie and Georgina of styling duo George & Smee love nothing more than styling parties, weddings & events. The pair have uncovered a fantastic way to combine their love of styling and meeting new people—hosting a secret supper party! ‘The idea is for friends of friends to meet a bunch of awesome new people in a totally different setting,’ the pair told us.

Adding to the excitement of the event, Katie and Georgina’s guests didn’t know where they were going until the night before. The location, once revealed, was the San Telmo Studio in Sydney, which housed a long series of timber tables for the night. Styled as a Mediterranean fiesta, there were tons of vibrant colours and patterns. ‘We scattered the table with beautiful old Mediterranean inspired tiles and placed hand written watercolour name cards on each plate with a colourful pompom,’ they said.

‘The table looked magical in the darkness with twinkly festoons, hanging flower bombs and plates full of delicious paella.’ The evening was full of laughter and fun, people meeting new people and making new friends. Guests were seated according to a table plan, which was designed to encourage mingling. Katie and Georgina told us that ‘people who attend always walk away at the end of the night with new friends… or a new love interest!’ Have a look at the wonderful images of the night below!
