Mother-to-be Stephanie and her family didn’t want to know the gender of their little one before the birth, so they hosted the perfect gender-neutral baby shower with a ‘Mother to Bee’ theme.

The cute bumblebee theme worked perfectly for the outdoor setting of the shower, which was held at Stephanie’s parent’s house. Surrounded by friends and family, Stephanie celebrated the new chapter in her life in true style.

The garden was decorated with little bee garden figures, wooden framed windows hung around with sweet writings on the glass. The bee theme continued with a rustic edge, with raw wood chairs and luxurious gold tables cloths mixed with the fresh flowers held in glass vases.

Glass jars held yellow bubble gum party favours and silky black ribbon table settings. Cupcakes, cake pops and caramel desserts, along with a beautiful beehive cake from Simply Sweet Cakery, made the most delicious sweet treats at the shower.

Wooden beehive shaped cake stands held the cupcakes and decorated the drinks table.

The guests were asked to bring gifts to the shower to spoil the new addition—gender-neutral of course! Reflecting on the day, Stephanie’s sister Joanna told us, ‘it was a wonderful thing to see how happy my sister was and to know that this was all put together for her and her baby-to-bee made my family along with myself very happy.’
