Sophie + Paisley’s Desert-Themed 2nd Birthday

If this desert-themed birthday is anything to go by, we’d happily pack up shop and move to the desert. Have you ever seen such a vivid display of party decor?

When toddlers Paisley and Sophie were set to turn ‘dos’, there was no doubt they were in for one helluva party. Their fabulously talented mother, Alexis, is the founder of The Shift Creative—a custom installation, event design and styling business based in Southern California, U.S.A. Hence, it’s no surprise this kids’ party is as aesthetically amazing as it is!

We’re drooling over the dessert table, which features super cute mini taco cupcakes (yep, you read right!), a cactus cake, cactus macarons and cactus doughnuts—taco ‘bout delicious! All our Mexican party food dreams came true when we discovered in addition to the spectacular array of desert-inspired desserts, guests were also treated to a guacamole bar and an on-site taco man!
