An Animal Safari Themed 1st Birthday

If you think the party set up is cute, just wait until you see the look on the birthday boy’s face!

Under a canopy of yellow stripes and wicker lanterns, 65 family and friends gathered in Victoria Park in Brisbane, Australia to celebrate Michael’s first birthday.

Taking animal safari as the theme, Michael’s mum Magdalina styled a jungle-themed party set up, complete with three life-sized fibreglass animals; an elephant, a zebra and a giraffe!

Magdalina says, ‘the animal safari theme was inspired by our baby boy’s nursery room, which features gorgeous animal prints from The Animal Print Shop.’

The ‘adults table’ was styled with an array of jumbo white balloons adorned with tassel garlands, while the kids’ table featured green tropical leaves and moss, gold animals, and mini Americana chairs with tassels, as well as helium balloons attached to party boxes.

Little partygoers were entertained a bunch of fun activities—including animal colouring-in sheets, a jumping castle and fun on a playground.

And Magdalina’s favourite moment? She says, ‘seeing Michael’s face light up when he saw the giant animals and sat on the elephant!’ HOORAY_Jungle-Themed-1st-Birthday_04
