Jessica and Steven met over 15 years ago. They were the ‘cliché’ couple that began as two best friends who eventually fell in love. For their wedding, Jessica and Steven gathered their nearest and dearest for a traditional ceremony that celebrated their Croatian and Macedonian heritages.
‘Set against a backdrop of vibrant colours, clear waters and Sydney’s famous harbour, we decided that the theme of our wedding would be beautifully fresh, fun and effortless, with a wonderland of florals,’ said Jessica. ‘We envisioned elegance, tradition and warmth with a touch of golden hues. From that, Sheree from She Designs Events created the magic.’
Sheree and florist Mikarla Bauer gave the reception venue an ‘enchanted forest’ feel. Blooms in white ivory and fresh greenery were suspended from the ceiling and the tables were decked out in seasonal florals. Crystal candelabras, gold vases, wooden features and hanging lights gave the venue an intimate, warm and romantic ambience. Jessica and Steven share a love of food, laughter and dancing, which is exactly what they captured with their wedding. See the images of their beautiful big day below.
