When planning her baby shower, Danielle wanted an intimate, whimsical and feminine occasion for close family and friends. The day began in the early afternoon with a cold sparkling drink of cucumber infused water, sparkling rose, lemon and lime served to guests upon arrival followed by some nibbles and lots of mingling. Guests then enjoyed the photobooth and games including baby bingo and a celebrity baby quiz. Toward the early evening, the cake was cut and Danielle revealed the nursery to guests.

‘Aside from the colour palette of ombre pink, gold and peach, I chose to use the word bébé which was actually inspired very early on in the pregnancy by my also-pregnant doctor’s thick Irish accent. I carried this throughout the theme along with a lot of pink (when we found out we were expecting a little girl)’ said Danielle. RC_Showers_DaniellesBabyShower_22
