Boy, oh boy! Can it get much cuter than this?
It’s no surprise Renata’s Baby Shower is seriously amazing—as one of the party gurus behind one of our fave party ware stores Hip & Hooray, Renata spends her time surrounded by celebration goodness!
Renata says, ‘My baby shower theme of ‘The Adventure Begins’ was the inspiration for the décor, including mountains, arrows and wild animals. It was great to get in and use some of our products for my own event for a change!’
Renata explains, ‘Myself and my husband are avid travellers, so when it came to a baby shower theme it was an easy choice…The Adventure Begins! After our many travels over the years, backpacking around different countries including climbing Mt Kilimanjaro and trekking to Everest Base Camp, we are excited to start our next new adventure and it was the perfect theme representing our personalities.’
In addition to the super cute party wares, the event featured a bucket load of DIYs, including a handmade ‘Oh Boy’ wreath with favours underneath at the entrance, handmade wooden mountains and clouds for the backdrop, arrow fruit skewers served standing up in logs, gold foil script bunting, arrow bunting, vinyl animal silhouette stickers to used as glass identifiers, and small gold arrows to seal the favour bags.
Renata says, ‘I’m a total DIY enthusiast and believe that handmade touches add so much personality to a party, so we definitely hand made some items to enhance the theme.’
‘My baby shower was an amazing day filled with laughter, family and friendship. After many struggles falling pregnant, we finally got there and I wanted a day to celebrate with all the special women in my life.’
