In collaboration with West Elm Australia, we held out inaugural HOORAY! gathering – a high tea on the lawns of Lindesay House, Sydney with some of the city’s most renowned creatives. It was a picturesque afternoon full of good food, fun and laughter all in the name of beautiful gatherings, founding new friendships and, of course, to celebrate Easter.
With a nostalgic egg hunt, a high tea fit for a queen and a goodie basket to boot, this was a celebration thoroughly enjoyed by each of the talented ladies that attended.
Using the spectacular landscaped gardens of Lindesay House as a backdrop, this whimsical high tea saw an eclectic mix of colour and decor. Stylist and director of White Rabbit Projects, Bree Gomberg, said the beautiful pink linen tablecloth she chose for the main table inspired the rest of the event.
‘From that, everything else seemed to just fall into place,’ said Bree. ‘I pictured this beautiful French aristocrat rolling out her finest in the garden of her estate to put on a decadent Easter-inspired spread for her favourite femmes.’
The combination of pink and neutral tones against the garden’s greenery ensured the event was fitting for Easter – and even more fitting for an all-female affair!
