A Botanical High Tea 30th Birthday

Are you on the hunt for some chic celebration inspiration? If so, you’re going to want to check out this dreamy styled 30th birthday party.

The oh-so-talented team at Five and West were behind executing this whimsical celebration (…and we’re obsessed!).

THE THEME

What better way to celebrate turning 30 than by gathering your nearest and dearest and enjoying an intimate and relaxed tea party?

We’re not surprised that Five & West absolutely nailed the setup, as the team specialise in creating awe-inspiring high tea celebrations.

Su says, ‘for this particular event, the theme and style was ‘Botanical’. I wanted to create a long table style high tea in a grazing format and incorporate many natural green elements into the styling.’

THE DECOR

The decor was light, bright and whimsical, with many pieces sourced during Su’s travels around the globe.

Su tells us, ‘the phrase “tastes like wanderlust” is my ethos when it comes to Five & West. It reflects my passion for travelling and everything that l have experienced in all of the various places I have travelled to, I use as inspiration when creating events.’

Su continues, ‘many of my styling pieces and decor items have been purchased on my travels.’

As well as sourcing beautiful decor for her travels around the globe, Su styled the set up with balloons and garland decor, courtesy of one of our favourite partyware brands Favor Lane.

THE FOOD

As well as providing a delicious charcuterie board filled with delicious meats, cheeses and dips, Su worked with baker La Belle Patisserie to create a beautiful custom cake.

Su said ‘I worked with baker La Belle Patisserie and requested they create a heart-shaped cake using choux pastry puffs in the style of the double-layered cookie cakes’.

She adds, ‘this beautiful creation was decorated with mini macarons, berries and fresh flowers’. HOORAY!-Su's-Botanical-High-Tea01
