Yvette and Julian met in the Netherlands back in 2001, during the Utrecht Film Festival, and connected instantly. According to the couple, there had always been love in the air, but it wasn’t until the spring of 2006 that the time was right for their love to blossom.

The pair decided to move to Australia, and it was in front of friends and family, on the night of their farewell party in Holland, that Julian finally proposed to Yvette.

Yvette and Julian celebrated with their loved ones over a four-day wedding festival, and each of their guests contributed to the celebration in one way or another.

‘Our best friends and closest family members were all there and added their own little creative touches to the day’, said Yvette.

The location was beautiful, everything was so laid back and we all went barefoot. There was so much happiness and love’.

The wedding was held on the third day of the four-day celebration and continued late into the night. Additional festivities included the hens’ and bucks’ parties, a pirate-themed snorkelling trip, and an evening of dining in a fairy-tale coconut forest in the Segara Villages.

Yvette and Julian let their surroundings inspire their styling and opted for a tropical theme that was both natural and luxurious. The result was a lush, romantic affair with ambient lighting and a dance floor on the sand.RC_Wedding_Yvette-Julian_01.jpg RC_Wedding_Yvette-Julian_05.jpg RC_Wedding_Yvette-Julian_04.jpg RC_Wedding_Yvette-Julian_03.jpg RC_Wedding_Yvette-Julian_02.jpg RC_Wedding_Yvette-Julian_07.jpg RC_Wedding_Yvette-Julian_06.jpgRC_Wedding_Yvette-Julian_08.jpg RC_Wedding_Yvette-Julian_10.jpg RC_Wedding_Yvette-Julian_09.jpgRC_Wedding_Yvette-Julian_11.jpg RC_Wedding_Yvette-Julian_13.jpgRC_Wedding_Yvette-Julian_14.jpg RC_Wedding_Yvette-Julian_15.jpgRC_Wedding_Yvette-Julian_17.jpg RC_Wedding_Yvette-Julian_16.jpgRC_Wedding_Yvette-Julian_18.jpg RC_Wedding_Yvette-Julian_21.jpg RC_Wedding_Yvette-Julian_19.jpgRC_Wedding_Yvette-Julian_22.jpg RC_Wedding_Yvette-Julian_26.jpg RC_Wedding_Yvette-Julian_25.jpg RC_Wedding_Yvette-Julian_24.jpg RC_Wedding_Yvette-Julian_23.jpgRC_Wedding_Yvette-Julian_27.jpg RC_Wedding_Yvette-Julian_31.jpg RC_Wedding_Yvette-Julian_30.jpg RC_Wedding_Yvette-Julian_29.jpg RC_Wedding_Yvette-Julian_28.jpg
