Meet Heather

I fell into the world of flowers by a very happy accident. From the first snip of a flower (I believe it was a carnation) I was hooked. In an instant I knew that flowers were the medium I had been searching for.

Today I am a happily employed, formally trained floral designer at a wonderful and busy retail flower shop, Academy Florist in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. At Academy Florist, I feel I have found my niche arranging flowers with a romantic and refined aesthetic, specializing in weddings and custom designs.
