When your little one turns the big one, you tend to throw them one helluva bash to celebrate, even if you know they won’t remember a thing. So, that’s exactly what Carlie did to celebrate her daughter Amielle’s 1st birthday!

With the help of Alicia from Perfectly Sweet, Carlie threw Amielle a boho birthday bash full of nothing but dream catchers and teepees. Because Amielle can’t exactly choose her favourite colours just yet, Carlie decided to go with her choice of colour palette – purple and teal.

‘They are the key colours I have used to design her room and my favourite colours on her. So I asked Alicia to create something magical around these choices,’ said Carlie.

There was a teepee present table, dream catchers galore, balloons, paper lanterns in the trees and a deliciously stunning dessert buffet. Each jar was wrapped in a hand-painted leather rope and Alicia even created a beautiful fabric backdrop using strips of silk – so dreamy!
