If the idea of a ‘party in a box’ gets you buzzing, then you have to feast your eyes on the sweetest first birthday party fit for a queen bee.

The party, which was curated by Morgan Kelley of Scarlett Events, features artistically styled décor and Pinterest-worthy goodies all to match the un-bee-lievably cute theme ‘Our Little Honeybee’.

Held in the gorgeous light-filled Park Studios, the celebration could not have looked more elegant. We are swooning over the floral sunflower and daisy duo …and can we talk about those flower crowns?!

THE THEME:

‘Harper’s first bee-day’ was the theme of the day, with hive décor and gorgeous floral arrangements of daisies, sunflowers and lavender to match. With all the super-sweet décor, it’s safe to say the day looked like a whimsical dream.

A fresh and warm colour palette featuring hues of yellow, gold and lush green complemented the honey-bee theme, with décor such as tiny honey pots and hexagons of wood to tie it all together.

The honey-bee party is available in a convenient ‘party in a box’ format. Morgan says that “by providing each custom-themed box to a customer, we hope to not only provide the supplies for an amazing event, but the gift of time to the hostess”.

All that time saved on party preparations meant that there were smiles all round for Harper and her family—and who wouldn’t be beaming at a party as bee-autiful as this one?

THE FOOD:

The little honeybees were treated to amazing food, including oh-so sweet cookies. And the main event? A naked birthday cake topped with fresh blueberries and precious flowers. How divine!

Lemonade in a rustic pitcher was the drink of choice for the party, along with glass bottles of milk and daisy cupcakes, all to be enjoyed on adorably chic daisy shaped plates.

Tiny golden pots of honey with wooden dippers were party keepsakes for the lucky guests, each taking home their own little part of the hive.

Take a peek below at the gorgeous photos from the day captured by Kelley Raye to see just how adorable this bee-day celebration was.
