A Vibrant ‘Tutti-Frutti’ Themed 1st Birthday
Thursday, April 7th, 2016 | By Emily Coates
This tutti-fruitti themed first birthday party is fun, bright and ultra-girly! Held in her home in Sydney, Chloe celebrated turning one with with 30 family and friends.
Chloe’s Mum, Danielle of Vignette Design says, ‘The Tutti Frutti theme was inspired by watermelons, pineapples and strawberries—currently it’s all Chloe likes to eat, so it only felt appropriate!’
Talking us through the process for pulling together the event, Danielle explains, ‘the theme was enhanced once I found the cake from Unbirthday Bakery—it was the perfect way to describe Chloe in a cake! Then I found a dress which included all the same colours. This just led on to picking up some gorgeous pieces such as honeycomb pom poms, confetti balloons, watermelon plates and paper treat bags, as well as ‘Birthday Cake’ flavoured fairy floss for party favours.’
‘I then took extra snippets of inspo from HOORAY! Magazine, 100 Layer Cakelet and Poppies for Grace’s Instagram to create a mood board, before bringing it all to life.’
On the day, guests were treated to sparkling rosé and a selection of brunch-style treats on arrival. After posing at the photo booth and popping little partygoers into the play area, guests sang ‘Happy Birthday’ to the birthday girl, before she opened her pressies and tried cake for the very first time.
