When it comes to choosing your Honeymoon destination, paradise doesn’t necessarily mean you have to leave Australia. There are some incredible locations around the country, and they come with the added bonus of saving some money and a long plane trip! So, if you’re after a bit of Aussie inspiration, we’ve found six amazing locations that we think you’ll love. Happy honeymooning!
Broome
Where to go: Broome, Western Australia
What to do: Broome is definitely a holiday must! If you’re lucky enough to be travelling between March and October, you might catch the renowned “Staircase to the Moon” occurrence, where the tides of Roebuck Bay create the illusion of a golden staircase. Definitely something for you newlyweds! You can also take an iconic Camel Safari at sunrise or sunset at Cable beach, hovercraft tour around Roebuck Bay or catch a flick at the sunset cinema at Gentheaume Point.

Melbourne
Where to go: Melbourne, VIC
What to do: Melbourne, often credited as the Australian capital of culture, is abuzz with things to do all year around. We recommend checking out an exhibition at the National Gallery of Victoria, kicking back with a coffee on Degraves Street, window shopping in the Bourke Street Mall, and shopping up a storm on Chapel Street. You can find Stylish and sophisticated apartment hotel style accommodation within Melbourne that will make you feel right at home.
