OMG you guys, it’s the day we’ve all been waiting for… finally Canberra brides can access a curated selection of bridal designers without having to drive to Sydney or Melbourne. Yep, this is not a drill.
Say hello to Mrs Fray, a pop up bridal boutique showcasing a selection of carefully selected bridal designers who bring a fresh perspective to the bridal industry. Perfect for the low-key bride who isn’t into fussy gowns or puffy princess silhouettes, instead seeking a gown to reflect her unique and timeless sense of style.
Mrs Fray is the lovechild of Amy Farrell and Andi O’Day, two photographers who sought to shake up bridal fashion in the nation’s capital.
This duo of photographers envisioned creating a tri-annual wedding dress pop up that provided a fresh and modern take on wedding style for Canberra brides and at last Mrs Fray was born.
Mrs Fray will be showcasing stunning designs from Australian bridal designers Karen Willis Holmes, L’eto Bridal, Lola Varma and Prea James. As well as adornments from By Nye Jewellery, EOD shoes, silk dress and robes by NATALIJA, organic separates and underwear from Baserange and feel-good products from OLO Fragrance.
Over the course of the four days, brides will be able to browse the collection of wares within the Nishi Gallery and book themselves in for a private appointment to try anything on.
You can catch the first pop up at the Nishi Gallery in Canberra from the 11th to the 14th of October 2018 (we can’t wait to see you there!).
After Sunday the 14th of October, the Mrs Fray pop up will disappear from the space. But have no fear, you’ll be able to purchase anything you viewed in-store or tried on through their website.
