Canberra brides, rejoice. There’s a sweet new arrival to the local bridal scene—and she’s seriously stylish.

Say hello to Mrs Fray. A chic bridal boutique for the minimalist bride who doesn’t play by the ‘traditional wedding’ rules.

Mrs Fray is the creation of wedding photographers, Amy Farrell and Andi O’Day, who felt the Canberra bridal scene was long overdue for a shake-up.

After two wildly successful pop-ups at Ovolo Nishi in New Acton, the duo decided it was time to go from pop-up to a permanent home. On 18 July 2019, Mrs Fray will be swinging open her doors in the Campbell 5 precinct, ready to match rebel-hearted brides with their dream frock.

In an industry imbued with traditions, the store offers a breath of fresh air with a store where ‘the rules about wedding dresses don’t apply and gold boots are strongly advised.’

The store will feature a meticulously curated collection of Australian designers, including Prea James BridalLola Varma BridalL’eto Bridal, and Karen Willis Holmes,

For Canberra brides, this means long-haul trips to Sydney or Melbourne are no longer another checkbox to tick off in the wedding planning process. Instead, you can simply start your search right here in Canberra.

Not only will you find a curated selection of gowns and veils, but Mrs Fray will also provide all the goods you’ll need to complete your love party look. Think: a selection of fragrances, accessories, paper goods, intimates, hand-crafted ceramics, and objects for the home.
