Tuesday, June 15th, 2021 | By Emily Coates
An engagement party is an intimate affair meant for celebrating love.
But just because we’re in the midst of a global pandemic, doesn’t mean couples can’t celebrate their love with the ones they love. Things just have to get smaller, and a lot safer.
The team over at Ruth Chin Events, along with a number of other vendors from the Toronto area, assembled a picturesque pandemic safe engagement party, wanting to showcase an unforgettable celebration of a couple’s love.
“We wanted couples to see that they could still celebrate with their loved ones and have a party that was beautiful and memorable even in the midst of a pandemic.”
These vendors definitely went above and beyond in creating a beautiful and memorable shoot.
So, if you’re planning an intimate engagement party, or just gathering ideas, then look no further as we have all the inspiration you need right here.
The Styling
Inspired by the beauty of Morocco, rich jewel tones, textures, and stunning patterns were a standout feature of this shoot.
Warm red and oranges, cooling blues and neutral tones were at the forefront of this shoot’s styling. From the cushions around the table, to the rugs, right up to the floral adorned cake display.
Fruit was incorporated heavily throughout, serving as much more than food but a fun twist on décor and name cards at the table.
The florals chosen to decorate this shoot matched the deep jewel tones, which helped tie the décor together beautifully.
