Looking for some colourful party inspiration? You’ve come to the right place. This party has colour by the bucket-load!
A colour palette of pink, orange, purple, blue and aqua set the scene for this do, with styling inspired by confetti and all things fun.
The Decor
A giant installation of honeycomb balls sourced from Five Star Party Co trailed from roof beams down to the floor, providing the perfect backdrop for festivities! Keep your eyes peeled – we’ll be posting all the steps for how to recreate this, along with the DIY confetti wall very soon!
The creative talents at Sketch and Etch Creative prettied up our place settings with marble-textured place mats, hot pink acrylic name cards and ‘bottoms up’ drink stirrers. Seriously, can it get much cuter?
And one of our fave online party ware stores, Ruby Rabbit Party brought all the confetti, paper drinking straws and confetti-filled jumbo balloons (after all, what’s a party without balloons?).
The Venue
The shindig unfolded in the light-filled studio space of The Social Club in Kingston, Canberra. We’re obsessing over this brand-spankin’ new space… It’s the ideal blank canvas venue, with a pinch of personality thrown in for good measure (think: sassy signage, two timber swings, and an oh-so-cute pink fridge!).
The Desserts
Boy oh boy, where do we even start with desserts? Saadia of La Ombre Creations designed one heck of a pretty cake, ornately decorated with buttercream puffs, colour-swirl macarons, tempered chocolate sails and gold leaf. And let us assure you; it tasted just as delicious as it looked! The cake was complemented with mini-magnum cake pops, doughnuts and cookies, all adorned with a rainbow or sprinkles and sweet treats.
The desserts sat pretty thanks to pastel cake stands from the best in the business, The Pedestal, who carefully matched our vision with stands in shades of pink, purple and blue.
