10 DIY Decorative Easter Egg Ideas
Monday, March 21st, 2016 | By Rosalie Iannelli
Second only to Christmas, Easter is one of our favourite celebrations on the calendar, and it’s just around the corner!
Seeing as this time of year is full of celebrations and general busyness here at HOORAY!, we think it’s about time we got into the Easter spirit. Our starting point? Eggs, of course! Not of the chocolate kind, but of the kind the decorative chicken kind.
Not just an activity for the kids, decorating your own Easter eggs means you’ve got the perfect starting point for dinner table centrepiece, a decorative feature for your coffee table, or a creative place card for your guests. If you wanted to get really tricky, you could attach some string to the eggs and hang them from a bunch of foliage or bare branches, or even thread string through the centre of the eggs the make some fabulous Easter bunting!
We’ve rounded up our fave DIY decorative Easter egg ideas below. Get inspired to go beyond the old dying trick and get your hands even dirtier (if that’s even possible) to create some beautiful little eggs.
