The Magic Hour
Wednesday, December 13th, 2017 | By [email protected]
Each day, before the sun dips over the horizon, it spoils us with a special type of magic.
A fleeting moment of golden light; diffused, soft and full of warmth. It’s known as the magic hour.
Inspired by the beauty of low light paired with translucent gowns, we called upon Kelly Tunney to capture it with us. A photographer with so much unwavering talent, she rivals the best fine art photographers right across the globe.
The results are a series of frames so breathtaking, we found ourselves in total awe of each and every one, pondering whether we could publish them all.
Our bride plays amongst the light and shadows. Think: layers of ethereal tulle adorned with ornate beading, dripping in a golden glow. Long, billowing sleeves paired with intricate embroidered details. A sea of sequins glinting in flicks of sunlight to mesmerising effect…
Together, we chased the light before it slipped over the horizon, cloaking the room in shadows.
