Willow’s Magical Unicorn 4th Birthday

This fourth birthday party is what little girls’ dreams are made of.

Nick and Rozalia Russian’s daughter, Willow, is a total ‘girly girl’ who loves ponies, so what better way to celebrate her fourth birthday than with a pretty pink pony party?

The event stylists behind this gorgeous rendezvous, Creating Beautiful, transformed the event space with shades of pink, using a variety of different textural elements. Think: balloons, velvet and leather furniture and an abundance of beautiful blooms—including Peonies, Columbian Roses and Cooper Beech foliage spray-painted in pink and gold.

An epic pink balloon installation created a dreamy backdrop for the festivities, complemented by super fun unicorn-shaped signage by HOORAY! favourites Sketch and Etch.

And what’s a kids’ party without a bunch of fun things to do? Little partygoers were kept entertained with an array of fun pony-themed activities.

‘We organised customised kids table tops, featuring a super-cute pony design layered with the prettiest pony table ware with hints of gold metallic; and a very popular cookie decorating table featuring unicorn-shaped fondant cookies and fancy sprinkles,’ says Bree of Creating Beautiful.

‘The cherry on top of the cake was the fairy floss cart and a face painter …the kids had a blast!’

And Bree and Felicity’s tips for hosting a kids’ birthday bash? They say, ‘Keep it fun for the kids with entertaining activities—and lots of balloons, of course!’
