Black and Blanc Styled Shoot
Friday, December 13th, 2019 | By Kiara Anderson
Black & Blanc is an industrial-inspired shoot, brought to life by E Squared Design Co. (…one of our favourite creative event studios!).
Offering inspiration for the non-conformist bride looking to bring a sophisticated edge to their big day, this shoot brings a fresh take on wedding inspiration, celebrating the new-age bride, whilst still holding a classic and timeless essence.
Styling + Florals
E Squared Design Co. sure know how to produce bold and inspiring affairs. They are a versatile team who are inventive and passionate when it comes to events, offering floral arrangements, styling, ground-breaking concepts …and can even cater for any occasion!
They produce creative and immersive concepts—and this styled shoot is no exception.
Moody and textured details are contrasted with the bright and airy space of Camperdown Studios. Wild dried, earthy foliage is offset against classic black and white styling. Draped in linen, the tablescape is adorned with candles, stationery and layered table settings.
The team tell us, “Black and Blanc is a riff on the classic play between textures – sumptuous, soft tulle and pearls layered against sharp suiting, chic industrial spaces, black leather and abundant tactile earthen surfaces in pared-back neutral tones.”
The Bridal Looks
By Kane provided three striking looks, each with a unique silhouette. Paired with stunning bronzed eyes and luxurious pearl accents, each look unites seamlessly with the overall styling.
“Three lush looks were created – our personal favourite the pearlescent cocktail suit, layered with an ethereal cathedral length veil and killer heels,” says Libby of E Squared Design Co.
The pearlescent cocktail suit was the showstopping piece and muse behind the rest of the shoot. This design was layered with a gorgeous veil, killer heels and paired with a sleek pulled back bun, embellished with delicate pearls— a look that is sure to catch your eye!
Libby adds, “The hair and makeup looks were all artworks in their own right! A sculpted chignon, sleek gathered pony and wild waves, all studded and swathed in pearls, tied together with perfectly bronzed eyes and milky soft complexion. Timeless and elegant with a hint of wild unruly edge.”
