The Chicest Baby Soiree You Ever Did See

The typical baby shower isn’t for everyone, which is why this chic and classy baby soiree ticks all the boxes if you’re looking for something a little different.

Knowing that Mumma to be, Danii, didn’t want a typical baby shower, her sister, Jessie from Ruby + James, teamed up with their mum and some other close friends to bring this surprise baby soiree to life.

Describe by Danii as “…the perfect afternoon with 30 of my closest loved ones, full of love, hugs, well wishes as a few fun games.” It definitely sounds like this baby soiree exceeded expectations.

Décor

This baby soiree took the chic and classy brief and ran with it, creating a celebration that is oh-so stunning.

The main styling inspiration came from a hand-sketched black and white giraffe, which tied in perfectly with the styling of this celebration.

With a modern and summery take on the animal kingdom as the inspiration, and washed in blues, greens, whites, nudes and a little touch of black, this baby soiree was a treat to take in.

Complete with beautiful blooms, a stunning combination of hydrangeas, delphiniums, Queen Anne’s lace, and lush greenery, along with a green melon and banana or two, the summery vibe was well and truly there.

Food + Entertainment

A celebration is never complete without a mouth-watering menu, and this baby soiree definitely delivered on the food and drinks.

This yummy menu had a range of antipasto grazing boards and roaming cocktail food, with delicious additions of arancini balls, bruschetta, salmon tarts, and mini burgers.

Guests were treated to a bunch of sweet treats in the form of cookies, as well as a raspberry and vanilla buttercream cake. And the edition of mimosas made this event that much more fun and very summery.

Now, a baby soiree wouldn’t be complete without a few games, especially ones that keep to the chic and classy vibes of this celebration.

From an entertaining mum and dad themed question and answer (with the questioning conducted secretly for maximum entertainment!), to a creative ‘what will the baby look like’ arts and crafts session, this baby soiree truly went above and beyond.
