So, the big day is looming and you still haven’t found the perfect wedding entertainment.

You want to create a fun-filled vibe to set the scene for a night of wild revelry.

Well, my friends, you’re in with some luck! There are countless options out there – and the hardest part can be narrowing them down!

If you’re in the middle of planning your love party, here are five exciting wedding entertainment ideas for you to consider:

1. Organise live music

We all know that a bad playlist can instantly kill the vibe of the party. And on the flipside, an energetic band can lift the tone and get everyone in the mood to dance!

If you want to get every guest on the dance floor, live music is a must! That’s why more than 47% of couples hired a band or had live music for their wedding.

The best thing about a live band is that you can personalise their performance by asking them to play your favourite songs and songs that have significant meaning to you and your partner.

If you want to keep costs low, consider hiring a local wedding band, so you can cut costs on their accommodation and travel; the music will still be just as entertaining but you’ll keep to your budget!  You can check out the HOORAY! 2. Set up an activity station

Okay, so this idea is usually reserved for kids’ parties – but why not consider one for your wedding? For a little inspiration, be sure to check out Carolyn and Matthew’s wedding. The groom is a huge Lego fan, which naturally called for a Lego activity table (a clever way to include a creative activity for guests who don’t want to boogie!).

There was even a Lego competition and Lego-themed party favours for each guest!HOORAY-Carolyn-and-Matthew-real-wedding097

3. Arrange a photo booth

I mean, who doesn’t love a photo booth?

Photo booths are always a winner when it comes to wedding entertainment as guests love a snazzy picture they can use to remember the day.

Plus, the newlyweds can also keep a copy of every photo taken, which they can treasure forever.

Photo booths have come a long way in recent years and now there are more options available to wedding couples; you could stick to the traditional booth with props, or you could even hire a robot photographer who can roam around the venue and take guests’ photos (how cool is that?!).Photobooth-for-keeps

4. Book some fire performers

If you’re looking for wedding entertainment that is truly unique, then look no further than a fire performer!

Perfect for a beach wedding, your guests will be on the edge of their seats as they watch the fire eaters and flame jugglers doing their thing. It’s something everyone is sure to remember for years to come.Fire Performers (155 of 235)-L

5. Arrange a petting zoo

Okay, so we’ll admit; this might just be our most ‘extra’ idea yet.

However, after publishing Ara and Jorge’s colour-filled wedding, we’ve been sold.

This couple incorporated two absolutely adorable alpacas, due to their significance in Peruvian culture (…and to add just a touch of Peru!). These gorgeous creatures wore neckpieces made of bright pompoms and delighted the guests and the couple alike.HOORAY_Ara_and_Jorge084Image: Ara and Jorge’s wedding
